Here are a few ways to embrace the season and support our shared home:
- Celebrate the outdoors. Fall is a perfect time to enjoy Avila’s trails, beaches, and parks. Whether you're hiking the Bob Jones Trail or strolling the pier, take in the crisp air and vibrant colors.
- Support local events and businesses. Many of our local shops and restaurants are offering seasonal specials and hosting community gatherings. Your support helps keep Avila Beach thriving.
- Stay safe and prepared. With shorter days and changing weather, be mindful of road conditions, dress in layers, and check in on neighbors who may need extra support.
- Use extra caution at the roundabout. The new roundabout is now open, improving traffic flow to town. However, construction is still underway—please drive slowly, stay alert, and follow posted signs to ensure everyone’s safety.
- Get involved. From volunteering to attending local meetings, your voice and energy matter. Explore the pages here to learn more about current initiatives and ways to make a difference.

Avila Beach Community Foundation Announces 2025 Grant Recipients
The Avila Beach Community Foundation is pleased to announce the 2025 Grant Recipients!
Grants totaling $54,200 are being awarded to 14 programs and projects providing services in the areas of education, health and wellness, the environment, youth sports and community engagement. In its 18+ years of grant making the Foundation has awarded and helped distribute $3 million to benefit over 190 Avila Beach projects and organizations. Click here for the list of 2024 recipients.

Help Keep Avila Beach Clean!
There has been an increase in litter throughout our town with the recent influx of visitors. More trash receptacles have been installed, but it has been difficult for our service agencies to keep up with the sheer volume of garbage, mainly on the weekends.
