An Informative and Fun Time Had by all at the Avila Community Spotlight and "Avilones of Distinction" Awards
Thank you to everyone who attended the Avila Community Spotlight hosted by the Avila Beach Community Foundation. The event featured the Avila Beach based non-profit organizations, public agencies and neighborhood groups that help our community thrive and provided information about local volunteer opportunities.

Avila Beach Lifeguard Towers Voted "Best Public Art" in SLO County!
We are so EXCITED to announce that the Avila Beach Lifeguard Tower Murals created by the fabulous Colleen Gnos were voted "Best Public Art" in the 2018 SLO New Times Best of SLO County Poll! The artwork was commissioned by the Avila Beach Community Foundation & the Foundation partnered with ARTS Obispo to facilitate the project! BIG THANKS to everyone that voted for the Towers! We couldn't have done it without your support!
