Many thanks to the Zacky Family Foundation for funding Avila's new water fountain for people and their four legged friends! This is what happens when individuals come together and meet a need in the community.
The Avila Beach Community Foundation along with the Zacky Family, County Planning, and the Port San Luis Harbor District came together to see this project through. Now our four-legged friends (and people too) can have clean, fresh drinking water at the beach. Many thanks to the Zacky Family Foundation for their generous support of this project. Foundation Board of Trustee members Richard Zacky, Lisa Ritterbuck, Beverly Aho and Executive Director Rick Cohen, presented a check for $5,000 to representatives of the Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers at a dedication at the Lighthouse.
